I am an English Major attaining a Communication Minor at Westfield State. Initially, I was here to study to be an educator of English at the secondary level. At the end of junior year, I had a change of heart and am now pursuing a more communication-based career. I have also been able to expand on my skill and love for editing and writing by joining The Westfield Voice, our school’s news website.
When I leave school, I hope to get a full time job and work within a communications department for a company. Eventually, however, my ultimate goal is to write for a publication or media outlet, whether that be for a major news site or in sports journalism at a company such as ESPN. I also aim to write a novel in my adult years.
